Our Clinical Director, Lisa, is an accomplished care expert, senior case manager and nurse specialist / consultant with over 25 years of experience as a health care professional gained in acute, community, regulatory and charitable settings.

In addition to preparing medico–legal expert witness reports for the Court, Lisa also provides senior case management services for clients with complex conditions including brain injury. 

In 2024, Lisa was selected as a member of the Infected Blood Inquiry Response Expert Group in her capacity as a Nursing Care Expert, assisting the Government to design a compensation scheme to bring overdue financial redress to the victims. 

Lisa was also a panel member of the National Nurse Consultant Group for Palliative Care and contributing author to the guidelines on NHS Guidance to Staff Responsible for Care After Death.

Lisa also regularly provided her expertise to CQC (Care Quality Commission) inspection teams in order to ensure that judgments were based on credible professional knowledge and experience.

Up until 2014, Lisa was Clinical Lead and Commissioner for End of Life Care services working closely with specialist teams ensuring patients received holistic care from the multi-disciplinary team and managing the funding for that care.

As the Clinical Lead, Lisa led the development of health services for people requiring palliative and end of life care and provided clinical expertise and training to Health Care Professionals within hospice, hospital, nursing homes and community nursing teams. She also supported and advised Doctors. While working as a specialist palliative care nurse in the community, Lisa held her own large caseload of patients with long term conditions, and life limiting illnesses.

  Lisa began her career in the NHS as an Oncology Nurse and District Nurse.
